Bad Schlema
The radon spa Bad Schlema is situated in the charming middle region of the Erzgebirge. At the beginning of the 20th century the first guests came from all over the world in order to use the famous radon treatments. Today the spa resort offers ideal treatment for patients with illnesses of the musculoskeletal system and chronic analgesic states. Treatments range from basin and hydrotherapy to treatments with radon air as well as drinking cures. You can carry out an ambulatory bath treatment or benefit from our range of health package deals. You can seek quiet and relaxation in the health bath “ACTINON”, which offers a 650 m2 pool with therapy basins containing radon and salt, with temperature of up to 36°C. The connected sauna facilities offer 8 different saunas indoors and outdoors. The spa oasis is located on three areas and provides a variety of cultural offers.
After treatments we recommend a stroll through the spa gardens with solar panels, park ponds, game reserve, minigolf course, Kneipp- basin and herbal garden and much more. The musical fountain entertains in the summertime with its harmonic interplay of water fountains and musical pieces from famous composers.
