Bad Elster

The long-established Saxon Staatsbad (State bath) Bad Elster is idyllically situated in the Weiße Elster valley and is for more than 150 years famous for its healthy springs and the healing moor. Saxon kings were once cured within the nostalgic bath environment with its unique Jugendstil buildings. Today guests are treated royally and enjoy the spa, cure and culture with a luxurious charm. The healthy fresh air, the spacious spa gardens and the enchanting landscape of the central mountains are inviting. Interesting excursions lead into he idyllic boarder triangle of Bohemia, Bavaria and Saxony, no matter if by car, bicycle or by foot.
